John is an award-winning film editor specialising in projects with a strong visual identity. Originally from Toronto, he cut his teeth editing campaigns for national brands like Sportchek and Canadian Tire before relocating to Australia.

Now based in Melbourne, John has brought his style of precise, emotionally-driven editing to projects across Australia; from high-end commercials and branded content to documentary series for ABC, as well as short films spanning from comedy to emotive for teams in Canada and Australia. His work in Australia has been recognised with multiple awards, including an ASE Ellie nomination for Best Editing in a Commercial and two Editor of the Year titles from the PADC.

Combining meticulous selects, mixed-media techniques, and a musical sense of rhythm, he crafts edits that are both hypnotic and emotionally resonant.
